Affiliate Disclosure
How Riding Nexus uses affiliate links and advertising, and why they never influence our ratings or recommendations.
Last updated
The short version: some links on Riding Nexus are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings, rankings or recommendations.
How affiliate links work here
- Affiliate links are marked with
rel="sponsored"and, where we show buy buttons, a note that we may earn a commission. - We choose products to cover based on reader interest and the Nexus Score, not on commission rates.
- Products without any affiliate program are rated and recommended in exactly the same way as those with one.
- Commission rates, partner relationships and advertising are not inputs to the Nexus Score. The scoring engine has no field for them.
Advertising
We show display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are labeled "Advertisement" and are kept visually separate from editorial content. Advertisers have no say over what we write.
Regulatory compliance
This disclosure is provided in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides, the UK Advertising Standards Authority (CAP Code) and Competition and Markets Authority guidance, and EU consumer protection rules on transparency.
