Our content is general information, provided in good faith. It is not legal, financial, engineering or medical advice. Laws and regulations change and vary by location, so always check the rules that apply where you ride.

Safety disclaimer

Riding and maintaining bicycles, e-bikes, scooters and motorcycles carries risk. Always wear appropriate protective equipment, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and seek a qualified professional for repairs you are not confident doing yourself. Lithium-ion batteries can be dangerous if damaged or misused. Never open a battery pack. You are responsible for your own safety and for complying with applicable laws.

Calculators and ratings

Calculator results are estimates based on simplified models. Real-world results vary. Never exceed manufacturer limits, for example maximum tire pressure or load. Nexus Scores are our editorial opinion, produced with the published methodology from the data available at the time. They are not guarantees of quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

Intellectual property

All content, design, logos, ratings and software on the site are owned by Riding Nexus or our licensors. You may share links and quote short extracts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish substantial parts of the site, or use our content or data to train commercial models, without written permission.

We link to third-party websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Some links are affiliate links. See our affiliate disclosure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riding Nexus is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
