MIK system

What does MIK system mean?

A click-on mounting interface for compatible bicycle carrier accessories and rear racks.

The MIK system lets a compatible bag or basket attach to a matching carrier interface. A bike rack may have the interface built in or need the correct carrier plate. MIK compatibility does not change the rack’s load limit.

Does every Gazelle rack accept a MIK bag?

No. Gazelle’s accessory chart lists some bikes that need a MIK carrier plate for its Carrier Bag. Verify the bike’s exact model and year with a dealer. Our Gazelle Carrier Bag guide explains the fit check.

Also known as: MIK mount, MIK carrier plate, MIK mounting system
