Jetson electric bike charger: find the right replacement
A model and SKU crosswalk for owners replacing a lost or damaged charger.
The short answer
For a replacement Jetson electric bike charger, find the exact bike model and product SKU on the bike, box or manual. Match both against Jetson's charger compatibility chart, then confirm that the charger product page lists your bike before ordering. A plug that fits is not proof of compatibility. If the SKU is missing or the listings disagree, ask Jetson Care Team to identify the charger.
Key takeaways
- Match the bike's full product SKU, then check the charger SKU on Jetson's chart.
- Bolt Pro and Haze have different listed chargers; Adventure versions differ too.
- Do not substitute a charger because its plug fits or its label looks similar.
- If you cannot confirm the pairing, stop and ask Jetson before charging.
A lost charger is easy to replace badly: several Jetson plugs look alike. Use the bike’s label and Jetson’s own chart to identify the replacement before you connect anything to the battery.
Which Jetson electric bike charger matches your bike?
Jetson’s charger compatibility chart maps product SKUs to charger SKUs. This shorter crosswalk shows examples for the models people often search. The middle column is an example product SKU, not a license to assume that every variant with the same model name uses the same part.
| Jetson bike | Example bike SKU | Listed charger SKU |
|---|---|---|
| Bolt | JBOLT-BLK | PJBOLT19-CH |
| Bolt Pro | JBLTP-BLK | PJBLTP-CH |
| Haze | JHAZE-BLK | PJHAZE-CH |
| J5 | JJ5-BLK | PJJ5-CH |
| J8 | JJ8-BLK | PJJ8-CH |
| Adventure, version 1.0 | JADV11-MBG | PJADV-CH |
| Adventure, version 2.0 | JADV11-BLK | PJADV11-CH |
All pairings above come from Jetson’s chart, checked November 3, 2026. It lists other variants, so compare your complete bike SKU there. The Adventure rows show why the model name alone can lead you to the wrong part. The Bolt charger link in Jetson’s chart did not resolve during our check; its SKU remains listed, but ask Jetson for a current ordering route. We did not test any of these chargers or verify stock.
How do you find the bike and charger SKUs?
Look for the bike’s model name and product SKU on its label, box or manual. Jetson says bike SKUs usually begin with J; charger SKUs begin with PJ. A charger can also show a factory model number. That number is useful when asking Jetson for help, but it is a different identifier from the retail charger SKU.
You’re holding a used Bolt Pro with no charger and only the bike label to go on. Copy the whole code from the label before browsing listings. “Fits Bolt” in a marketplace title does not establish a match for Bolt Pro, and “42 V” on a listing is not enough to settle it either. Jetson says a connector that fits can still pair the wrong electrical specifications.
-
Record the bike ID
Find the full model name and product SKU on the bike, box or manual. Photograph the label so no letters or suffixes are lost.
-
Use Jetson's chart
Locate that exact product SKU in Jetson's charger compatibility chart and note every charger SKU listed for it.
-
Confirm the listing
Open the Jetson charger product page and confirm that it names your bike model. Check the current listing and your manual before ordering.
-
Stop on a mismatch
If the SKU is absent, a link is broken, or the charger label conflicts with the chart, send both labels to Jetson Care Team for a model-specific answer.
Our charger SKU glossary entry explains what the two codes identify. The charger output rating entry explains why the figures on an adapter label are useful to record but cannot, alone, approve a replacement.
How should you charge after you have the right charger?
Follow the manual for your exact bike. Jetson’s general e-bike charging guide says to plug the approved charger into the wall first, then into the bike’s charging port. It places the Bolt and Bolt Pro port near the pedals, the J5 port near the front wheel, and the Haze port near the frame’s folding point. The same guide says the charger light is usually green with wall power, red while charging, then green when charging is complete. Disconnect after charging and do not leave the bike charging overnight.
A light that stays green does not, on its own, prove the battery is full or the charger is faulty. Use Jetson’s not-charging guide to check simple external causes. A damaged cable, port or battery needs Jetson or qualified service help. Do not open the pack, bridge contacts or try another charger as a diagnostic shortcut.
The battery charging time calculator can estimate a session after you know the approved charger’s rating. It cannot confirm charger compatibility or diagnose a charging fault. For wider battery care, read our e-bike battery storage guide and battery and fire safety guide.
What trips up replacement buyers?
The common mistake is buying from a broad “Jetson compatible” product title before checking the bike SKU. Jetson’s chart separates Bolt, Bolt Pro, Haze, J5 and the Adventure versions. It also says a charger may appear to work on several bikes without being a safe match for all of them.
Do not treat a shared factory charger model number as permission to swap retail charger SKUs. Jetson’s chart is the starting point, and its current product page or Care Team is the final confirmation when details conflict. Stock and links can change; an unavailable official listing is a reason to ask Jetson, not a reason to guess from a third-party product description.
Where this advice comes from
Source-checked November 3, 2026. This guide is a desk review of Jetson’s compatibility chart, two current product pages, its charging and troubleshooting guidance, and the CPSC warning. The crosswalk and decision steps are our editorial synthesis. We have not tested chargers, inspected a bike, or confirmed current inventory. There are no affiliate links or sponsored recommendations here. Review the charger chart again before purchase; the compatibility and safety sources should be checked within 90 days or sooner if Jetson changes the chart.
Frequently asked questions
What charger does a Jetson Bolt Pro electric bike use?
Jetson's compatibility chart lists charger SKU PJBLTP-CH for the Bolt Pro variants in its chart, including JBLTP-BLK. Confirm the full SKU on your own bike and check the current Bolt Pro charger listing before ordering. If your SKU is absent or the label differs, ask Jetson Care Team instead of guessing.
Can I use a Bolt Pro charger on a Jetson Haze?
Jetson lists PJBLTP-CH for Bolt Pro and PJHAZE-CH for Haze. Its charger product pages say chargers are model specific. Do not use the Bolt Pro charger for a Haze based on plug fit. Check your Haze product SKU against Jetson's chart and contact Jetson if you cannot confirm the match.
Why is my Jetson charger light green but the bike is not charging?
Jetson says a green light can mean the charger has wall power before it is connected, or that charging has finished. It does not identify the fault by itself. Check Jetson's charging and troubleshooting instructions for your model. If the battery, port or charger appears damaged, stop and contact Jetson or a qualified service shop.
